ART: AIDS Remembrance and Tribute Service: I studied ballet for four years and had a few public performances.

This one was special because I was dancing at my best along with my dance partner, Stephanie Halenkamp.

Started playing tenor saxophone.  Took lessons at Willis Music in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Discovered what I could do with two cassette recorders: Record an idea onto one of them.  Play along another idea while recording on the second one.  A lot of tape hiss but the sounds in my head came alive.

1980

Started playing clarinet in school band.  Sometimes, I was the only student to show up and I got a lesson all to myself.
